Chocolate Hummus
Did you know that you can make chocolate hummus?
Chocolate hummus is one my favorite and easiest ways to have a healthy dessert.
Just like regular hummus, this is made with garbanzo beans.
We use chocolate hummus as a dip with strawberries, we add a spoonful to our açaí bowl, and I have even used this to frost cupcakes.

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked garbanzo beans (rinsed well)
2 big tablespoons nut butter (peanut, almond or sunflower seed)
2 big tablespoons of cocoa
1 teaspoon of vanilla
optional: 1 tablespoon of sweetener (dates, honey, agave, or molasses)
1 tablespoon of milk (oat, almond, or homemade cashew milk to make more creamy) stir in more to adjust consistency
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a food processor. Start with a little milk and add more to make desired consistency.
Store in refrigerator.
Can be refrigerated for up to two weeks.
*Big, when I say big I mean go ahead an add a big overflowing scoop.
Enjoy!
